Registered Dietitian (RD) / RD2B Role:

Lead the Nutrition Care Process while using food as medicine in a rehabilitation setting!
Provide nutritional care to promote wellness and recovery to those suffering from diabetes, renal, cardiac pulmonary disease, nutrition support and other chronic illness while using food as medicine.
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with psychologists, social workers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in interdisciplinary teams.

NDTR role: *under RD guidance*

Deliver medical nutrition therapy to residents
Collaborate with RD, Rehab, OT, ST, PT, Physician, FSD
Educate nursing, rehab, food service teams
Perform clinical, food service audits
